Learning English through Elsa Speak

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who learn English, there are two types of motivation for someone to learn English. First, someone who has an integrative motivation, which means they learn English because they want to know the culture or want to get married to native English speakers. Second, Instrumental motivation is for education and work.

Now there is a Learning English application called Elsa Speak, I think learning English use Elsa Speak is very easy, with Elsa Speak you can learn pronunciation, you can choose the skills that you want to play. This application is not only for pronunciation but there is a dictionary. You need to create an account to play Elsa Speak.You can use paid or free.

My Learning Progress

I want to tell you a little story , the first time I knew Elsa Speak was from my lecturer, she told my friends and me as students to download this application because she also uses this application. first time I played Elsa Speak, of course I made an account first, then, I immediately tried skill 1 which contained the contents of learning how to pronounce a vocabulary. For example like in this picture. During this semester I have tried skills 1-12. from skill1-12, in this application there is about learning to say a word, listening then guessing a word, and saying according to word stress. I have done 2 times the assessment and the first score is still in the intermediate around 54%, but the second time I get a score of 74%. So that’s my learning progress with Elsa Speak, and I recommend this application for you to learn English because it is very easy and can be used for free or paid.
